01 · Who we are

KARANDA (PVT) LTD is a private limited company registered in Sri Lanka, company number PV 00307467, incorporated on 15 August 2024 under the Companies Act No. 7 of 2007. We are the data controller for information collected through karanda.lk. Reach us at emailkaranda@gmail.com or +94 74 338 8800.

02 · What we collect

Your full name, contact number, email address, the names of guests in your booking, the performance and section booked, the number of tickets, the total paid, and the receipt or deposit slip you upload. Payment is by bank transfer only. We never see or collect card details, and no payment is processed on this site.

03 · Why we collect it

To verify your payment, confirm your booking by email and WhatsApp, manage the door on the night, and contact you if a performance changes. Your slip is evidence of payment and is kept for our accounts.

04 · Who sees it

The small KARANDA team handling bookings and front-of-house, and our bank where a payment needs checking. This site is hosted by Netlify. Booking records are stored in Google Sheets and uploaded slips in Google Drive, on servers operated by Google. Both providers operate servers outside Sri Lanka. They store and serve the information on our instructions and do not use it for their own purposes. We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers.

05 · How long we keep it

Booking records and payment slips are kept for up to 12 months after the final performance for accounting and dispute handling, then deleted. If you have not opted out, we keep your name and contact details on our announcements list until you ask us to stop. Ask us sooner and we will delete anything we are not required to keep.

06 · Marketing

We will message you about this booking. We may also use your name, email address and contact number to send you news and announcements about future KARANDA work. You can opt out at any time by replying to any message and asking us to stop, and we will take you off the list.

07 · Your choices

Ask us for a copy of what we hold, have it corrected, or have it deleted by emailing emailkaranda@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

08 · Cookies and tracking

This site does not use cookies. We use only what is needed for the booking form to work, and we do not track you across other websites.

09 · Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
